Kelly Pitre is a Senior Grants Manager in the College of Connected Computing at Vanderbilt University, bringing more than 30 years of experience in academic, research, and administrative environments. Her background includes extensive work in research administration and sponsored programs across the full grant lifecycle, from proposal development through financial management, compliance, reporting, and closeout. Before joining Vanderbilt, Kelly served as Manager of the Office of Research and Grant Administration at FMOL Health and previously as Director of Sponsored Projects Administration at Louisiana State University’s Pennington Biomedical Research Center. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed helping faculty and research teams navigate complex processes, build strong working relationships, and find practical ways to make research administration work more smoothly. Kelly holds a Master of Public Administration from LSU and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Portland State University.
