About

The College of Connected Computing at Vanderbilt University sits at the intersection of computing and the sciences, security, engineering, medicine, and society — reflecting the reality that computational thinking is now central to virtually every domain of discovery and innovation. Our faculty and their teams of graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, research staff, and undergraduate scholars pursue a research agenda that spans the full spectrum from foundational theory to use-inspired investigation to translation-driven deployment, supported by a portfolio from agencies including DARPA, NSF, NIH, ARPA-H, and DOE. With deep partnerships across the university campus and our local communities, CCC is building a research enterprise where rigorous computer science advances are shaped by real-world problems and delivered as real-world solutions — positioning Vanderbilt among the nation's leading computing research institutions.
