Sarazen Haile is the Assistant Dean of Research in the College of Connected Computing at Vanderbilt University. With over 14 years of research administration experience, she has worked across the entire grant lifecycle, from pre-award through post-award phases, and has managed research cores, trained staff, and provided onboarding for research administration teams. Her career has spanned department, dean’s office, and central office environments, gaining a wide perspective on research administration tasks and challenges. Sarazen is passionate about delivering high quality grants management to faculty and other stakeholders and ensuring staff have the tools and support needed to grow and thrive in the research administration field.
Sarazen began working at Vanderbilt University in 2012, moving to Nashville from Chicago after completing her MFA in Printmedia at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
