About
I am an Assistant Professor of the Practice in the College of Connected Computing at Vanderbilt University, where I support Computer Science and Data Science education. My research lies at the intersection of Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, and Machine Learning. My work focuses on developing state-of-the-art deep learning pipelines for context-aware understanding of short textual content found in dynamic social media environments. Outside of academia, I enjoy studying history, writing fiction, and passionately supporting Liverpool Football Club.
