Sevy Kraner
A&S '04 | CEO and Co-Founder of Ivara Botanicals
Sevy Kraner is a healthcare executive with over 20 years of experience spanning healthcare investment, commercialization, and strategy across pharmaceutical, medtech, venture and economic development sectors. Her passion is rooted in improving healthcare outcomes by creating innovative strategies, scaling those opportunities and delivering impact.
She is currently CEO and Co-Founder of Ivara Botanical, an early-stage nutraceutical company developing clinically validated botanical products for recovery, resiliency, and longevity.
Prior to Ivara, Ms. Kraner led innovation and commercialization initiatives across a consortia of the largest health systems in the country, where she drove venture investment at scale and improved innovation outcomes across the sector.
She also served as a Managing Director at JobsOhio, where she led Ohio’s healthcare economic development strategy. She created, led, and deployed a $550M innovation initiative in partnership with leading institutions including Cleveland Clinic, Case Western Reserve University, The Ohio State University, the University of Cincinnati, and Cincinnati Children’s. As part of this initiative, she also created a $250M venture fund to accelerate early-stage healthcare innovation across the state.
Previously, she held strategy and business development leadership roles across multiple early-stage companies and global leaders including Cardinal Health and Forest Laboratories. She began her career at Jefferies as a healthcare analyst.
She holds a BA in Economics and Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University and resides in Columbus, Ohio with her husband and three teenage daughters.
