Dr. Vikash Singh is an Associate Professor of the Practice of Computer Science at Vanderbilt University. His interests include human-computer interaction, computing education, collaborative technologies, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. His early research centered on video-centered, team-based active learning including an NSF-funded project on tools that let groups discuss and annotate video content together. More recently, his work has examined generative AI and large language models, including bias and their implications for computing education and society. At Vanderbilt, he is actively engaged in experiential and project-based computer science education, while mentoring undergraduate researchers and incorporating emerging technologies into his courses.
